Yeah, at least you've improved it now malpass.

Oh dear, you've done it again.. that whole derailing of threads thing? I wouldn't mind but you've chosen yourself as the new topic.

The Surname Database wrote:"Recorded as Malpas, Malpass, Melpuss and even Morpuss, this is an English surname although derived from French, and even possibly in some cases, with a separate French origin. It is locational, and may be from the town of Malpas in the county of Cheshire, or possibly from the similarily named Maupas in France. The name in all cases has the same translation of "bad passage"."
Bad passage... hm, sounds about right.

stop derailing threads jchristie, er, i mean malpass.

anyhow. 300 brances of woolies are closing today. I think some 'pollers should make it their mission tobuy the most unlikely item og backshop tat for under £20 and post a photo of it here.

Me?

On Christmas Eve, the Scunneh branch of Woolies was selling spare tree lights for the princely sum of £0.03.

Or nil, if you were most of the people interested in them.

One of my local stores is closing today but I can't bring myself to tear myself away from the lovely home in the battle for a bit of shelf.

it was all over the news today - obviously a slow news day. Pictures of the shutters going down for the final time *CRIES".
on another note, did you see the images of people entering the stores on the boxing day sales? Mad fools - wait for a few weeks / months and the prices will be even lower!
(or is that what we are not supposed to do - I am confused)

I'll take a graceful look inside my local Woolies soon enough as it's not due to close until next Friday, I won't miss the demise of it besides the fact I have no idea where the hell I'm going to get a 1kg bar of Dairy Milk next year.
