Oh well  They will have to answer to somebody else, though, and they're not going to like that one bit.

And Mr Luxton has completely back-tracked from his position on Speight-gate from three months ago - typical. He even managed to get a dig in at Gavin: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/show ... stcount=85

Why do people say RIP as though in a hurry? It's rest in peace - we don't have to pay per letter on TV Forum.

Then again, these silly thread shouldn't be there. How can you grieve somebody you never knew?

I do think, in fairness, that this isn't just a bog-standard, dying of old-age story. It is of a television presenter who was working for the BBC three months ago who killed himself. IMO there is a place for this story, though not for the RIPs, but because it is centred around the personal life of a man in the media.

Oh no I agree, but that thread is quite pointless, a lot of them are just 'RIP, a sad day for television  '

I do wonder if things are going to be any better with this magazine company, though.
They're going nowhere.

Are you the one who tried to poison your own dad once?

Looks like DS moderation did something right for once and closed a thread Luxton was bleating in.
