Surely if they were able to get to the school to type that sign and stick it up they could've opened the school?

This was not posted at the school, it was on a noticeboard in the village centre. The school is at the top of a hill which is actually quite difficult to walk up this morning. I walked the dog this morning and I was struggling.

EDIT - The local secondary school is open apparently...

God I can't believe that a school would close for that amount of snow - it's much heavier here - they're all still open.

I hear that Comic Sans is the easiest font for people with dyslexia to read, and as such is recommended as a type face for use on signage in schools.

It's all gone very dark here, the snow is slowly melting, and it's now pissing down with rain.

I'm a little perplexed at the level of fuss from Englandshire regarding the snow.

One of my suppliers closed their factory this morning on the basis that carriers like TNT and UPS *might* have difficulty in collecting goods at the end of the day.

I asked them if they meant snow was falling inside the factory, but it seemed to fall on deaf ears.
