There are not seven million unemployed, and I don't care what "a civil servant said on other forums".Ross Revenge wrote:1. Lower unemployment.(Don,t forget 7 million people are currently unemployed in the UK.)Gavin Scott wrote:Give me 3 good reasons why.James Martin wrote:Tories get my vote.

If you are going to lie to yourself, fine. I'm not going to entertain it, however. That only leaves two points, and as one of them claims the Tories will "properly fund the NHS", I don't think I'll bother discussing it further.

1. Unemployment is NOT 7 MILLION. If it had it would be constantly in the news & Labour would be shitting themselves. Under Tories it was 3 Million, labour it is less
2. Hmm... Poll Tax anyone
3. HA HA HA Thatcher wanted to abolish it & the tories want to CUT funding.

[quote="Johnny"]Thatcher privatised nearly everything. She wanted to do the NHS but her party members wanted here out so she quitted instead.
It,s a fact that Lady Thatcher never had any intention of privatising the NHS!

Get your facts straight Johnny UK unemployment currently stands at 7 million, secret documents which the government are trying to suppress prove this!Johnny wrote:Wrong, Wrong, Wrong, WRONGRoss Revenge wrote:1. oh please. go and join freerepublic if you want to talk such shite. 7 million is over 10% of the population, you'd notice if they were all unemployed.Ross Revenge wrote:Get your facts straight Johnny UK unemployment currently stands at 7 million, secret documents which the government are trying to suppress prove this!
WOAH! What the hell is going on here... come somebody please check to see if Ross Revenge is doubling up as someone else, please?
He's quoting himself and disagreeing with himself...
He said unemployment was 7 million, then he said no it isn't...
Either i'm very confused, and will return with humility to Desperate Housewives, or something fishy is going on.

Eh? I certainly plan to vote, although i'm certainly not going to vote for a party that I do not wish to see in government and/or have made no attempt to attract my vote. Voter turnout is awfully low, if that were all dis-interest with the current parties, a higher number of abstentions than votes for the government would send a very powerful verdict.miss hellfire wrote:As a woman i won't bore you all and bang on about the suffragettes. Not true, they do not appear on the Claimant Count statistic although they will appear on the Labour Force Survey. Some statistics for you...Jamez wrote:Most of my friends are unemployed, but don't claim benefit. Therefore, they don't show up on the unemployment statistics.
Claimant Count (December Figures)

The claimant count is generally a poor measure of unemployment as the rules are notoriously changed frequently. The better Labour Force Survey...

Some way from 7 million!
he isn't actually Tom although I wouldn't put it past him. He's just so retarded he can't use the quote system properly. He's only just discovered signatures to post his "p.s. please visit radiocaroline" tripe in.cat wrote:WOAH! Talking of inability to use a system. I'm now paranoid I forogot to send away my voter registration form thingy I picked up at school. If I haven't sent it away does that mean I can't vote? Do I get something in the post to say "you can vote" and if so, when does it come?
