This ad is awful:

I dislike the innuendo at the start, the repetition of the first bloke's 'there's no sharp pain' comment and the cheesiness of it all.

The Cadbury's Flake advert gives me the creeps. Looks like a jellyfish-like alien with flappy skin. Presumably that's not the impression they were planning on making.

My problem with the current crop of on-demand shtuff isn't the existence of ads, but rather the 3 advertisers each manage to sign up. With 4OD, the Carphone Warehouse almost managed to make me fall out of love with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah with their incessant pish while I worked my way through Drop The Dead Donkey, and now while trying to re-watch This Life on SeeSaw I'm subjected to Iggy Pop melting at 15-minute intervals. Oh, and that feckin Diet Coke ad. I'm not sure what concept they think they're executing brilliantly...

A BHS advert has been broadcast lately that consists of just some revolving white three dimensional text on a red background. Nothing wrong with that you might say but if you have seen the advert you will notice the production quality is of an inadequate standard.

Just checked that on YouTube, had a rather arty description.
I however found it weird and yes, creepy.
Also kinda gross.

On the subject of irritants, youtube now has a button that puts the noise of a vuvuzela over whatever video you're watching

Along the bar under the video with the play and closed captions buttons, is another which will add the Vuvuzela noise, whether the video is paused or not.

Not all vids have the Vuvuzela button, but this
TechCrunch article reveals all and has links to one of them.
It's a good gimmick!
