It's getting boring over there how you can't suggest anything that could be cut without being labelled as ridiculous, anti-BBC, Tory, etc.

There are so many things that the BBC does that I personally don't think it should do (despite on the whole wanting the BBC to exist), but Christ, it'd be nice if people were accepting of other people's points of view once in a while.

He's not even checked previous posts in the local tv thread where he would have seen that what he said has already been mentioned.

It's kicking off in the Weekend thread in the gallery.

Don't people read the guide to mocking pinned at the top of the forum?

Although that does need a few links updating, such as the link to the top rated designs (which currently has a GMB mock at the top of the list, which properly puts to shame all the recent designs).

Unfortunately the thread has recently been archived so I can't edit it anymore! Will drop Asa or someone a PM to see if that can be changed.

So, tonight's Meridian News came from Millbank. Even after I've posted official confirmation of this, "new member" Jay16 is still unconvinced...

WHAT A PRAT.

UPDATE - He's received a warning, and called us all a bunch of something (swear word deleted). Banhammer incoming methinks...

I've reported him for his childish slur, all because he majorly cocked-up.

Still, it doesn't help TVF's reputation when one idiot gets it wrong pissing off one of Meridian's top people working behind the scenes.

I see he's also the one who hosted his mocks on imgur. :?

To be fair - the background image *is* the Meridian newsroom is it not? I don't think it's entirely unreasonable for someone to think that's where they were.

Not defending the guy's attitude, but you're only really telling half a story here.

Seems like such a minor thing to get pissed about. It's a public forum on the internet - of course not everybody is going to be an industry professional (or over the age of 13).
