Ooh yay it's the "American style local TV in the UK" argument again! I look forward to fan favourite comments like "There's no appetite for local TV in the UK", "How can you know that without trying?", and who can forget "Here's a bunch of images and YouTube videos of American local news that somehow prove my point"

If he's so confident that a rolling news format would work, why doesn't he pitch it to some investors and set up an operation himself? Something like the Beaumont Broacasting Company, or Ian TV.

There's an aircheck of him on community radio kicking around the Internet. The word "panned" springs to mind.

I can't find the aircheck in question, but his radio show has been reviewed.
