Given half the BBC News presentation thread is now just people posting updates of camera movements - can we not have a separate thread for rogue cameras given that half the 'incidents' aren't even of note, a rota style thread would be only beneficial. The forumers who wish to post every single camera movement can and those who just want to find out if anything of note presentation wise is occurring then they can go on the Presentation threads.
Given that I once got a bollocking by other members for merely pointing out that in N6 there was a variety of colours of chairs used on air, I fail to see how camera movements are of any more relevance to a presentation thread than discussing part of the set.

I think it's just such a relief that Worzel isn't talking about BARCO gaps any more that most of TV Forum have ignored the slew of videos he's uploaded of every single BBC News camera incident.

The last few posts Barcy has made are A) giving me a headache and B) calling for some sort of rota for promos, with Barcy saying 'I would still like to know what promos are being pushed out by ITV and or even UTV and compare'. It's not the first time he's mentioned it, and he goes onto say he doesn't see it as a rota discussion, but he has provided a full break-down of the times promos have aired on one occasion, and is also referencing a separate night too when he noted the promos airing. I get that it's a TV presentation site, but surely noting down what promos are airing and making that into a discussion is so horrifically dull and unnecessary it's almost as bad as talking about presenter rotas - it's effectively the same thing but 'Jane Hill' is replaced with 'STV player - piggy bank promo ( 20 sec)' and 'Simon McCoy' with 'Its good to laugh 1 min promo'.
Promos do not get upset if you obsess over them so it's not creepy, but if we're moving towards a point where posts go along the lines of 'I noticed that the Doctor Who promo used the daytime endboard instead of the nighttime one, is this because it's about time travel?' and 'they've shown the 'one for Christmas' promo 12 times this week but the Call the Midwife promo has only got one airing at 1:30am on 12/12/14, why are they biased towards Christmas???' it's just as bad.
Also, what on earth does 'STV xmas promo ( ITV version)' mean??

The trouble is he takes an interesting discussion (to me at least) which is basically how much instruction STV and UTV get from network on trail playout and/or how much attention they pay to it; and reduces it to absolutely tedious detail. Couple that with barcode's 'extremely hard work' prose.

So how do we make it even more interesting discussion then? which out making it to tedious in detail?

The place is getting pathetic!
You could just, you know, stop reading it? Like you keep saying you have.
There are still some interesting posts on there.
It's just certain assholes on there that spoil things, like the wannabe moderators!

I thought you were complaining about the actual moderators this time?

I presume it was also his son who posted that he wanted to start a petition about a children's channel
