Or you could do absolutely nothing at all - which was enough to earn me a permaban. Actually, the person who actually did what I allegedly did is still active.

So I've been banned from TV Forum for a week after stating TopCat's thread on the BBC One circles idents "was a bit 'Tumble Tower", on the premise this was abusive to another member and I'd already been warned. But isn't that a TV Forum mod making the decision that such a connotation is a negative thing and therefore an insult in itself to another TV Forum member? I was merely commenting on the style of the post and how it was similar to Tumble Tower's tendency to remind the reader of very precise details such as dates.
I later posted a point that, "people on television related presentation forums who question validity of the licence fee would complain if new pres was roled out" or words to that effect which was a perfectly fair point in my view. To some extent I can understand the decision to remove the first post and the resulting ban, although I insist it wasn't meant as an insult, but why on earth was the completely legitimate and fair second post removed? TopCat has questioned the licence fee, and others who do so often also question spending on things like new branding.
Also TopCat has taken the decision to undergo a rebrand.

Or just give up as it's pointless with the moderation on there!
Surprised the place is still going personally!

Did anyone know that DVB Cornwall had a connected TV? He hasn't mentioned it much.

Can anyone suggest a way of educating 623058 on the difference between the words "there" and "they" without attracting a blue banner? I know he's been writing "there" when he means "they" for a few years but it's getting irritating now.

If I were you, I would just write it in a polite manner. No sarcasm.

The problem is there isn't really a way to write a polite message about someone's grammar without sounding dickish, superior and arrogant.

I think he's normally spells wrong a lot of the time. When I've contributed to TV Live and given him the clips, he then uploaded still images from the clips and puts them onto the site. If he put any spelling mistakes when they were on the site, I did let him know.

I was going to post this in the rota thread about what's happened tonight with a certain ITV News presenter, but I'm afraid it will be deleted for going off topic or whatever.
It was only a matter of time before something like this happened - to be honest, I'm surprised we haven't been called out on Twitter by someone in TV before. Hopefully it will make people realise the kind of things they're saying before they post them. I don't think it should mean that we are forbidden to criticise or speculate, just as long as it is within reason.
