That was a classic. How do these people actually get through the day.
Oh I am sorry, not everyone has the best of knowledge as you do!
The rest of us have brains.

Cando's continuous slating of Daybreak is getting quite tedious now...

It does get a bit annoying at times, as it's as if Cando would never be capable of giving credit to the ITV breakfast show when even if it was due.
That said he brings more value to the conversation than someone like Shane Forster though.
Shane Forster wrote:Cando wrote:Inspector Sands wrote:Taking notice of the ratings from day to day like that isn't really useful or a good indication of a trend.
Normally true but not when the fall is as big as this. Dropping 160k and 4 share points in 2 days is a very worrying sign and to pretend otherwise is wrong. That's a 20% fall! The fall so far (percentage wise) in just 2 days is already much bigger than Daybreak1 had across all of its debut week.
Yesterday was down 150k on the same day last year with Aled and Lorraine.
Usually, TV programmes will find new viewers, and some of their current viewers will begin to drift away. Therefore, the yearly ratings are the only indication of success. The ratings don't really indicate a trend - they do sometimes, but not often.
I'm not sure he understands what he's going on about. Not as bad as MartinFirth though.

Well that's not very friendly of you.
It seems the days of getting to know people online (a la myspace) are over.

The conversation in the Good Morning Britain thread has now fallen to the new low of discussing whether or not they'll have special camera moves to show Susanna's legs, because of media criticism for her being behind a desk.

As interesting as it can be to read about the intricacies of US TV stations in different states, I'm SO BORED of it constantly coming up in the threads about local TV. They aren't comparable things.

To be fair, they're not the only ones... see the never happy Daily Mail who were the ones complaining about Susanna's 'enviable pins' being stuck behind a desk:

What a load of old shit.

I wonder if he goes around hating everything in his everyday life too.
Seriously though, he always goes on about how everyone on TVF is deluded. You wonder why he goes on the site in the first place then.

It's strange considering most media people who use the forums including DS from my experience of the radio industry do it for a laugh and to see the reactions from those without a clue, however Cando just comes over as bitter for reasons only known to him.
That's not to say that sensible critique of GMB shouldn't be allowed.
