That's been on for a while now actually. Little to no complaints for it.Chie wrote:I saw a new Crunchy Nut advert this lunchtime which is just mortifying. I can't believe an advertising agency actually thought that would be a good idea.

I think its a nice idea myself, and in fact I would be happy to find one in a card. In essence you're sending someone a chance of winning a fortune, instead of a plain old card.Chie wrote:I find it confusing though. The ad is about buying someone a scratchcard as a gift for Christmas. Why would anyone aspire to do that? I'd be narked if I bought someone a scratchcard and they went and won £500, let alone a million. Can you imagine.Gavin Scott wrote:Hardly. I think he's confused about why anybody would want to give the gift of winning a million for Christmas, when they could get it for themselves.Gavin Scott wrote:I think its a nice idea myself, and in fact I would be happy to find one in a card. Oh yes - I get why that might be confusing now.

It's a bit selfish of Chie - if I had won the million I would share it with my family or friends, especially the member who had given me the scratchcard.Gavin Scott wrote:Because its a charitable, nice thing to do.Philip wrote:I think he's confused about why anybody would want to give the gift of winning a million for Christmas, when they could get it for themselves.

So, so good,
Getting pretty miffed at the Ford Commercial Vehicles ad with the fake football match. Annoying arrow things, "just look what it means to every single" unimpressed and uninterested 'fans' and poor commentating.
