I use the term 'Park' but 'communal' is a recognised (and correct) term for a 'formal garden shared by a number of residents'.

I think he means when people confuse "common or garden" with "communal garden"; which are two very different things.

But I may be wrong - its difficult to tell with chie, as he hates an awful lot of things slash people.

Most people know that being peeved with something is not the same as hating it. Hate is a very strong word Gavin, and I'm a very sedate and easy-going person since my hormones calmed down and I gave up smoking. I only complain about things to amuse myself.
