I don't like it with all these people going to university. I want to be going back to university. T'aint fair. The final sign of having left: my uni e-mail address has been taken away from me.

I'm going to take the opportunity to rant at mine because they're fools. Since merging with umist they've changed all the addresses from @stud.man.ac.uk to the ludicrously long @student.manchester.ac.uk. Tsk @ them. Don't they realise how long it takes to type out [email protected]?!

That is pretty stupid. However, if they are anything like mine (ukc.ac.uk to kent.ac.uk) you will still be able to use the better way for years to come.

Yep, that works for now, but I'm resigned to the fact that their IT department couldn't run a bath...

I would be annoyed about losing a stud.man email address.
