I don't do the singing.

That's down to the cheap session musicians.

My job's just to hype the message, over the top.

And Jamez wants me to retire properly and stop taking work from him.

I'm afraid neither of you are going to get what you want.

how can you expect him to when you've got the least memorable 3 lines of his jingle in your signature?

#wherever you go, it's the name to know...#

Pulling out of a space next to my car today was a W reg Ford Ka with a polar sticker in the back window. IIRC the last two letters in the registration were UB, so would that mean it was from *THE* polar?

Well, UB was Leeds under the old system, I think, so it's likely.

Not far from Leeds to Barnsley, Bradford and York.

By a VERY strange coincidence, I happened to be driving a car from Polar at the time I did their commercial.

Not actually at the time I did the commercial, you understand, it wouldn't fit in the studio; and, anyway, recording a commercial while driving is almost as dangerous as talking on the phone while driving, so for safety's sake, I would never recommend it.

Goodness, what a complicated sentence. Anyone would think I was finishing tonight's Comment in the other window.

Oh, and by the way, someone was asking about me doing mp3s of Comment. A mate of mine has found some software which will read it to him and store it as an mp3 as well, so he can hear the repeat on his pod thingy when out for a walk.

I've heard you singing, Nick. It's usually on the Wiltshire streets on a Sunday evening after one too many glasses of red!

Oh, so you've heard my famous rendition of "The Vly be on the Turnup" after a successful evening's quizzing, then?

Oh, and after nearly thirteen requests, tonight's edition of Comment (Midnight, this channel) will be presented in HD and widescreen.

And while I'm here, Hyma, can you let me have a postal order. I understand it's you I have to buy them from now.

Actually if I'm not mistaken it was "Bitches Ain't Shit" by Dr. Dre's contemporary Jazz orchestra
