My comment was not meant to be taken entirely seriously.
I note the Subtitles have been reintroduced to the mock BBC2 idents for no apparent reason. Nobody seems to have questioned why this is necessary or indeed why Stereo or Colour isn't being flagged. If someone could ask that'd be fab.

OMG BBC News hasn't had a revamp since, er, March. IS IT TIME FOR A REBRAND??!!??
I also love the idea that ITN have had "five new theme tunes" whilst failing to acknowledge they've all been remixes of The Awakening so in that sense are no different from the BBC whatsoever.

When the ITV National News set changes, the Regional News changes too. However at the BBC this doesn't happen till at least a year or so later. The Beeb is funded by Taxpayers and therefore their budget is smaller than an ITV Budget.
