Well that was odd. For around 5 minutes t'other forum was took over by a song writing genius, only known under the guise of 'dumbdog2'. At the time of his demise on the forum, he had only posted two poems for us lucky members (one about Emmerdale and the other about I'm a Celebrity), however it begs the question - How many more did he have waiting to be published online? Sadly, he was banned and the threads deleted within a short space of time, meaning we'll never know. :(

EDIT: Seems the Metropol community already noticed this musical maestro

Yeah, I was firebombing his house. I did ring him up to apologise, and he accepted my apology. What a nice man.

It's unbelievably dull. But I guess in another life the same people would be sat at railway stations taking down the numbers of the trains as they go by.

Not new, I'm afraid, Chris.

I refer the honourable gentleman to page 566 of this very thread.

I'm confused. Forum favourite David has a new signature on TVF, a Metropol one. At first, you might think nothing of this, and I went to open Metro in a new tab via his link. When I first saw it, it was advertising a thread for the best knock-knock jokes, and currently (15:57), it's looking at 'The Perfect Crime'.

When I went to my new tab, I discovered ChatPS is where the signature links to. At first, I was just disappointed that there was no thread on Knock-Knock jokes on ChatPS - I then opened the image of the signature, to discover that it's just a faked up Metro sig. However, the domain the image was hosted on was interesting, so I opened it, and...

LINK GENERATOR on DVBBRIGHTON.TK
12-Nov-2012 @ 15:59

The main page of 'dvbbrighton.tk' is an easy way to generate DVB Cornwall's formatted links, automatically. It codes the link with the correct time, and so on, in the exact way DVB-C does.

Why? What is this? Someone care to enlighten me?

Nice to be imitated ... even if it's less sophisticated than my Excel SS.

To help everybody format their posts to standards as high as DVB Cornwall's. Obviously.

Is the timestamp one minute out of sync with the post? This is important.

And ffs, I've been trying to create a DVB bbcode for ages and never thought of having a nice little generator do it all for me.
