Well the page long argument about which TOTH sequences use the jib was driving me mad. Just because they use it on a hour when your rota says they shouldn't doesn't mean they're wrong. Idiots.Critique wrote:I know it's mocking Daniel K and all, but this whole 'Have I posted this before. No? Here it is again', 'Maybe they can use the iPad to control the newswall and desk lighting' stuff is driving me mad.

For a product which literally holds the entire industry together, it amuses me that it's discussion seems to upset so many people.
That said, Daniel H's proclamation that "intelligent adult conversation" will resume when the gaffer runs out is even funnier.

He obviously didn't notice that the conversation preceding the Gaffa tape discussion was about how Daniel K had noticed the jib wasn't being used when he wanted it to.dosxuk wrote:That said, Daniel H's proclamation that "intelligent adult conversation" will resume when the gaffer runs out is even funnier.
At least phil94 is quieter now.
Him and DanielK are still trying to post like adults, with intelligent posts like:Critique wrote:At least phil94 is quieter now.

They only seem to ever use the normal one. Along with the one used for Sport, that I will guess was made in house, starting with the old 'Sound Effect' TOTH with other beds and music overlaid.
Especially that second post, did he really read that through before posting or was he overwhelmed by must spaek braaaains and vomitted out some of his consciousness? Silly me, no, thats "intelligent adult discussion" he's producing.DanielK wrote:Fading into a break looks really bad, the way they do it at least. If they had the presenter come into vision after the last 'Coming Up' piece and saying something like "All ofthat and more coming up on *Programme Name*, but first, these messages" or "All of that and more coming up later, this is *Programme Name* on Sky News, all after this."
