I am left rather amused by one of the radio gocompare.com adverts. It's set on a phone call to a help service, and after the whole insurance spiel and the GOCOMPARE!!! segment, it goes on to have a female voice saying "Can you tell me the average size of a man's..." before the apparently-operatic bloke bursts into another swansong.
Childish humour...

New Guinness ad:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pgA8Z7lFVE
The ad itself is utter nonsense, but they've also dropped the 'Good things come to those who wait' line and replaced it with the unoriginal 'Bring it to life' - a slogan reminiscent of plug-in air freshener adverts and Harvey's the furniture store.

There's a ten second ad for Morrisons at the moment that involves Nick Hancock showing off a Sunday roast stood next to a Christmas tree, saying: "Save at Morrisons this Christmas. Right now fresh British beef roasting joints are half price. But hurry, offer ends Sunday. Morrisons - Christmas savings for everyone."
So, beef is half price until tomorrow (8th Nov) at Morrisons. What the hell does this have to do with Christmas? Why are they treating us like this? I own a calendar. I know it's not Christmas yet.

A lot of these "cash for gold"-type adverts have been banned by the ASA after people complained to OFCOM regarding "Crime (Incite)" which is rather funny! LOL

It's the sheer amount of pure evil radiating out of his eyes. It keeps them open.

The Celebrations ad is back - the one with the "everybody needs somebody to love" dancing hoards.
It annoys me, as its very apparent that the music they're dancing to isn't the song we're hearing. Nothing unusal about that as such, in fact a few years ago I was in a series of beer commercials, one of which was set in a nightclub. We danced to a Blondie track, but in the finished piece it was another track.
However, the BPM of both songs was the same, so it looked like we were dancing to the right thing.
The Celebrations dance is clearly an entirely different speed to the music played, and it grates on me something chronic.
