Having a Branding Consultant in place high up could actually be proven to save money. That was the point in the Lambie-Nairn 1997 design, after all.

I see that tvmocker14 has logged the Celebrity Big Brother launch night at the wrong date and all of the other live evictions in January..

Wasn't he one of those fake media guru types with a production company responsible for the bigger shows around at the time?

Did David get his banned status from a few months on here resolved or not?

He's currently put Shatliff in what could be a checkmate situation in the Coronation Street thread... while his inimitable style isn't finding much of an audience over in the Celebrity Big Brother thread.

His banned status? Have I missed (or forgotten) something?

Shall I give my thoughts on David's behaviour in recent times?

I think he's lampooning Tumble Tower, in a pastiche of overly-detailed diary-style observations whilst engaging with other members in a totally literal way - blankly ignoring casual humour unless the joke is delivered by him.

I think its a passive aggressive attack on the moderators as an objection to the lack of intervention of Tumble Tower's disruptive capacity in long standing event threads - behaving in a way which begs to be censured, so that he can cast up the disparity in the application of "moderation" between some and not others on the board.

And to be fair, I can't blame him.

But hey, I could be wrong. It happened once in 1989.

He's not banned, as he goes on to say.

Anyhoo, whether the change of character is, as I imagine, a clean dirty protest, he still makes for better reading than the current clutch of scat merchants on there just now.

Well, I have a specific few in mind.

I've always felt that there was a split of friendships/relationships on the forum between the members who are from 2004 or so and before, and those who joined after 2005 - me included.

I used to have a silly username in the form of CBBC, but since changing it to VMPhil I feel thats just as silly and possibly even misleading considering I don't work for them at all. But changing my username again would just be confusing and maybe even a bit pompous

Hm... I understand the whole David lark now, still doubt they'll ever get rid of TT though even if his imitation is unnervingly authentic.

I was the fourth member, so nearly everyone came after me. But over the decade there have been folk who joined that I feel as fondly about as those who were there on the first year, and folk I remember who are long since gone.

You should unburden yourself of that worry. It's not a length of service thing.
