Tiger Bay? Sorry, I'm old fashioned, that's what it was called when I learned how to smoke Woodbines down on the docks.

It was the other end of the number 9 trolleybus route, Gabalfa roundabout to the Pier Head.

I prefer the term Tiger Bay, it's a bit more individual and notable than plain old [[Insert City Here]] Bay. Plus it was a passable film with Hayley Mills featuring Newport Transporter Bridge in the opening titles.

There always seems to be a air of being unable to compute that it is Christmas in the rota threads on TVF at this time of year.

Comments like 'X is on air now, unusual for a Monday' as if it's a normal Monday!

You speak as if the rota threads with their plethora of failed trainspotters / Barry Bulsaras in training were even remotely associated with logic in any way.

I took a brave step into a rota thread earlier.

There are people that watch channels solely to note who is presenting and then make some kind of dossier on a website? Seriously? Are you shitting me? Is Beadle going to pop out in a moment?

Still, makes my social life look glitzier than ever.
Good Lord!

I don't know why thy don't just ban rota disscussion, before anything too serious happens, actually come to think of it I remember reading that some years ago a TV personality sued TV Forum, but I can't remember who, I don't think I was there at the time.

Because the more morons that post on TVF about crap, and with the regularity of rota discussion being that it occurs several times a day, means more exposure to more users for Asa's site, and its adverts.

At least the rota threads have a point to them, unlike the Daybreak thread which appears to have completed it's descent into fantasy.

With Asa apparently refreshing the forum this decade, can we *please* have a rota sub forum and a "I have too much spare time so here's what dribbled out of my brain" fantasy sub forum for people to post their Daybreak schedules and line ups, christmas day morning schedules and demands about BBC news presenters tap dancing through the headlines.

I think that was because a particular member suggested that a particular person might have (alegedly) consumed some particular non-prescription drugs prior to appearing on a particular channel.

I'd best not go into any further particular detail.

That was it, thanks. Yes I better stop the discussion of that now.

I see the schoolkids are wetting themselves over these new set of changes to daybreak. I wonder what picture they're going to use behind the logo this time?
