Are we not allowed specific threads these days? Does everything have to be put into the most appropriate generic thread?

Well it had already been mentioned, discussed (and even parodied) at length in the SPORT thread; was fairly old news (in internet terms) dating from November 25th, and there have been no new developments on this story since then.

We try hard to keep TVF from becoming DS, where, for any given subject, there are at least 20 different threads, all spouting the same shite.

Except for the christmas thread splits, the BBC One one seems to have taken over the general discussion for some reason though the BBC One thread is still around even if at the bottom of page 2.

I would agree with you if there was already a thread specifically for the new channel, but there isn't, so there also isn't 19 other threads about it. I'm sorry, but a new channel launch, especially one which is at the centre of so much controversy is deserving of it's own thread.

The forum IMHO used to be much better when incidents and events were in their own threads rather than getting buried in the generic threads.

Wow! That must have taken you six months to perfect. One of the best mocks I've ever seen.

EDIT: and it's gone.

Mind posting what was in your 'fighting fire with fire' thread here? Presumably it's a mock?

Just in the hope they can see the error of their wicked ways! I can't recall what babble I wrote around the mock itself, which let's face it is usually nothing from your standard mockers...

Quite the eyesore, not sure why you pulled it.

Thing of it though is it's not trying and knows it. These guys are trying and failing in the worst way, minor potential never to be realised.
