Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

"Unique" is an absolute. Nothing can be "very" unique.
Indeed, and of course it should be said that all people are unique. The sentiment I had intended to express was 'distinctive'. Boris Johnson is a particularly distinctive character.

I agree with his thinking on this one, except it should be tougher and for longer than a weekend. Kids that consistently break the law and wave 2 fingers at the establishment, should endure a boot camp to break them down then rebuild them. Many kids ( not all) these days have little or no discipline. I believe in reintroducing some form of National service for persistant offenders of all ages.
I remember reading an article some years ago in cosmo about an American female boot camp. By completing it you could reduce your sentence. Not many saw the boot camp thru they quit and chose to see though their original sentence through to the bitter end.

If Boris wants to be tough on inner city crime, he has to be really tough and mean it. He is the probably the most powerful person in the tory party at the mo. If they want to win the next election, they need him to show that actions speak louder than words. i.e if we say we're going to do it, we will do it. no lip service or half hearted promises cos we have an election coming up.

I am getting a wee bit interested in politics now, as i've often thought that under his hooray henry persona there is a little bulldog.

I like the way 'Brown the Clown' announced that he would be "listening and leading" on Sunday, and then completely ignores those he appoints to advise him.

Just WHO is he listening to during this period of increased aural awareness? Those little voices in his head must surely be the result of a 'Class C' drug (or is that 'Class B' now)? :?

Fortunately not my work, although I did find it mildly amusing the first time I heard it.

Doesn't mean it is mildly amusing. ;)

Hate to commit thread necromancy, but I came across this.

http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/20/londo ... ctivities/

Jack Thompson lost his law license, I wonder what they'll do with Boris.
Ronnie is victorious, vivacious in victory like a venomous dog. Vile Republicans cease living while the religious retort with rueful rhetoric. These rank thugs resort to violence and swear revenge.

But Ronnie can punch through steel so they lose anyway.
