Well that may be, but Smashey and Nicey DJ acts were in about 10 years ago, but still live on at Source FM so it seems.

I wouldn't say we have any Smashy and Niceys at Source FM.

Source FM is very proud to live in the 21st Century.

You weren't at the introduction day then?

Chrissy Burns, a presenter at North Wales' Coast 96.3 wrote:Your signature says ‘Saviour of Student Radio’ - really? You are way way too cheesey for my liking. ‘My’ show makes you sound as egocentric as you come over on the forums. Links too long and no personality there...I am sure someone will like it beside yourself but you are trying soooooooo hard to be a ‘DJ mate’ that you don’t come over as being real. Unless you are really like that. From that demo I know nothing about you except that you are single.

The moderators are advised that I will call in our legal experts if this behaviour continues.

I've broken the law? Please tell me where. I'd hate to fall foul of the DJ Flava Legal Team.

This is what I'm saying James. You put yourself up for a major beating every time you behave like a cocky 10 year old. What makes it worse is that when you're being cocky, you also have a dig at other people... and that is very ugly in a person.

You have to realise that you are not the saviour of student radio - far from it. If you insist you are, people will give you a reality check. And I think you should try to establish a decent radio style before declaring it is the best and then starting to cry when people bring you down to earth.

And when professional DJs from a GWR Network station start saying stuff like I've posted, then it should dawn on you what a schmuck you sound like - despite how you imagine yourself in your head. But it doesn't.

Anthony Alldritt however is class. And so is your computing science friend.

I stand by my opinions on GWR's business pactices.

As do most of the radio industry, only the entire GWR group are too up their own backsides to realise it.

You must be pretty damn stupid to read what I've just said, then come up with some such stuff about GWR.

I only hope your legal team are better at having a coherent discussion - because you clearly aren't very good at it, on or off the air.

I would like to point out right now that the posts DAS has quoted from Media UK, are actually from the initial version of my demo, and NOT the latest version, which is the one that DAS edited.

The Metropol admin are reminded that if the offending posts are not removed and the offending users banned, then legal action will be instigated by Source Student Media Ltd.

I think we all agree that would be too much for an Internet forum, so if DAS, Square Eyes and TVMercia are banned and their offending comments removed, then the matter will be settled.

Thank you,

J. Martin.
