Ugh, Kwik Save anybody? I hope this is some kind of mistake.
I understand the response wasn't favourable from the higher up management..

I don't know if it's been mentioned anywhere but the Norwich city centre Morrisons has been revamped much like we've seen at Kirkstall, cigarette kiosk moved to near the checkouts and replaced by the flower store. Clothing and kiddicare terminal (which today was showing the Windows blue screen of death) there too.

The Morrisons on Festival Park in Stoke (a gleaming beacon of 1980s architecture) has converted one of the trolley parks to a garden centre.
Looks naff as hell.

There was also one advertised as opening last Sunday at the Hillsborough store. Asda used to do this sort of thing years ago.
New blog on Morrisons, happily the POS has changed but it's basically a rip off of Sainsbury's. The faux pas don't end there as you'll need a magnifying glass for to see the 3 for £10 stripping offer on Meat.
Also - I'm doing a newsletter 'too big for twitter, too small for a blog' - rounding up retail news from food in the month. It's free(!) - Send me a mail to subscribe - [email protected]

The Morrisons store in Stoke-on-Trent is getting a refit at the moment and it looks like the new concept is being rolled out there with signs advertising a new "Fresh Market" and a Flower Shop.
Still likely to be a godawful dark and dingy store at the end of it though.

Has anyone seen the new Morrisons Catalina vouchers? They're the same as Sainsbury's, but without the loyalty card.
I haven't had a chance to have a look in-store, but they do seem to be useless after a big shop (£5.50 off your next £125 shop). They do look nicer than the Sainsbury's ones, however.
