Please can Phileas Fogg stop using a soundtrack that starts with an audio track not unlike my mobile's ringtone?

I still can't figure out what the bodies are trying to spell in the Coors Light ad. ''Riosllot'' is what I understand of it so far

Why does the voice over say, "For fresh offers every week - pop into Somerfield" in an up and down inflection, like a vocal rollercoaser?

Makes my head spin.

Probably because the marketing person had asked the VO artist to read the same line in 40 different ways without actually being able to express what he or she wanted. I've been there. You end up almost thinking you're taking the piss by the end of it and then find the piss-take version is the one they've used.

I was once asked to read a sentence "not so quickly but in less time".

Speaking of VO artists, Peter Dickson's doing the new Floors 2 Go advert.

the envirophone WONGA advert keeps appearing everybreak on the music channels.

added to this is the new O2 cash card advert with the man who came 4th in the smug, sleazy and twattish competition doing an annoying set of magic tricks.

I'm glad it's not just me. He irritates me no end, and I've only seen the ad three or four times. I also find it more than slightly patronising that o2 thinks it's customers can't be trusted with a basic current account - and when they do have any money all they want to do is spend it on cinema tickets and T-shirts.

This product appears to have no point except to give your mobile phone network a profile of your spending habits.

The "Drug driving: Your eyes will give you away" ad has gone more than a bit OTT with the muppets-style googly eyes on the teenagers. They're just freaky. I thought it was small pupils that gave you away - not wide open eyes?
