Well that convo would have had me hitting my pillow after the 2nd sentence. How did you last so long before hitting the Zzz button?

What a load of Slim Fast. Stop involving yourself with nutters over MSN, Shaun, the good lady above is right - its boring. If you really want to be involved in a radio station you'll go about it in the proper way. I'm sure you'll find opportunities where you live that allow you to gain better experience.

Thank you for your responses. Your right what you say although i will never make it. I don't have the voice, experience ect. I live in some warped fantasy land.

Take a look at this,

How could i improve upon this? I have been in touch with Corby Radio, but i might have messed that up when i designed a Corby Radio website without there permission. I've taken it down now, but if its not one thing - its another.

You need a better avatar for a start.

And shave your beard. You're much nicer without it.

Much better. You look a bit like a tramp on your video, but quite dashing now.

As for how you can improve... I think your delivery could do with a bit more oomph. If you're reading the news, you need to give it a bit more urgency. I'd say you need to project your voice a bit more as it's a bit too soft and gentle at the moment. But it's not like you've got a hideous accent or speech impediment, so there's no reason you can't work on your voice.

You also need to try and look like you're a bit more interested in what you're talking about.

Keep at it though - there's certainly some promise there.

Excuse me Houston, we still have a problem.

Given the new avatar and the larger picture you've posted above, it appears that you've been attending the Benjamin Shirtlifter School of Photosquashing.

Could you possibly, now, correct the aspect ratio on whichever picture is wrong, please?

I think it may help as well if you produce an audition piece, that you don't film it against a backdrop of your wardrobe. Just find a blank wall or something.
