When did he depart? One would expect the departure of such a popular and well-loved member to be noticed by the rest of us.

Is anyone else rather nauseated by the 'Happy Birthday Greg Scott' thread?

I've nothing against the man, but that kind of sycophancy really should be reserved for someone who offers free money to all forum members, rather than just for someone who cons thick people out of their giro's on a shitty gaming channel.

Surely he must be embarrassed by all that fawning over him.

Remember Meic Young?

You know, the one who tried to pass himself off on TVF as a blonde with big tits and a red Ford Fiesta?

Well he now sits astride a very high horse on another forum.

His SixHits exploits have shades of Tidus.

Now now... I know Greg Scott is mostly associated with his work on said gaming channel, but that was not the reason for my starting the thread.

Aside from his presenting on the quiz channel, there are a few who see him as a respected television personality for his entertaining presenting ways and also a respected member of the TV Forum family, we do not all see him as a patronising presenter being egged on by his employer to force people into racking up monstrous amounts on their phone bills to part with their cash when they have no hope of winning the prizes on offer.

End of rant. Thank you, Good night.

well the fact the mods did not close it means we all have free reign when it comes to birthday threads. i'm going to save a few quid on postage this year by creating a thread for each of my telly idols, and i have a few of them.

moira stuart is first on my list - so start composing your dedications for her and the thread will appear a month before the big day. if anyone can think of a word that rhymes with afro, let me know. later in the year i will be opening threads for isha sesay, toby anstis, lizzie webb and tina malone.

Either way, with the greatest respect James, starting a Happy Birthday thread for any forum member a week before the event itself does make you appear rather undignified, sycophantic, and dare I say it, slightly stalker-ish.

perhaps these should be stickied?

Not that I'm hinting, but the annual Snu-Hyma birthday celebration occurs in just over a month. Perhaps the thread should start now?

Sorry if this is going off topic, but i see someone mentioned Meic Young here. Is he still around, ie read these comments. I use to be with SixHits, well was part of Six when "Juice" started looking for people for 6Television. I was stabbed in the back by my "online friends" long story, but if you want to know what happend, let me know.

Well i don't know if its interesting but ill carry on...

Basically i was away most of January and early Feb due to personal reasons and so on. I come back and i was treated like a total stranger, not a hello how are you - nothing. I was informed all the time things had changed, things had changed. Here is an exchange that took place, just because i questioned a task they set me to do... here are snippets from MSN as they are too long...

Its me, shaun says:
well ill give it ago
Its me, shaun says:
and no point saying all DJs MUST do reviews, because no one has yet
Its me, shaun says:
right, do i have a deadline?
Sky Snooze! says:
look shaun if u want to b part of this team dont criticise wot we r doin and just do it, ur deadline at least 3 by 10pm tonite

Its me, shaun says:
i think you will find that people are allowed to critise
Its me, shaun says:
this is a democracy
Sky Snooze! says:
offs shaun im not in the mood for this shit, if ur asked to do something just do it
Its me, shaun says:
dont speak to me like that thank you very much
Its me, shaun says:
i was just giving my opinion
Sky Snooze! says:
i can speak to u wotever way i want, ur not management no more remember
Its me, shaun says:
i just though people replying would be good

Its me, shaun says:
i was just giving my opinion
Sky Snooze! says:
i can speak to u wotever way i want, ur not management no more remember

Sky Snooze! says:
ive got better things to do without u nagging on at me, no wonder sixhits didnt move on with u always arguing with presenters, etc

Now all this because i suggested that the listeners would be better of writing reviews as they are the ones listening in for the music. I was told that all the editoral team do at least 3 reviews a week, check their site, only one has been posted.

It may seem petty, but this is an amature club and there was no need to talk like that to me, even you lot on here are not that harsh.
