But surely you're forgetting the eight Teacher Training Days that they now seem to have to have either side of every holiday!

Oh, and probably a Health & Safety Training Day to preceed the Teacher Training Days!

Heaven help us when we get to the (presumably horribly extended) Easter, Royal Wedding, May Day school holiday.
Given that Easter school holiday is only (usually) 2 weeks anyway - in my day it consisted of the weeks either side of Easter Sunday - it is only extended in the sense that they get one extra Monday off on Mayday. The Royal Bash is Good Friday week.

Unlike civil/public servants, schoolchildren don't get days off in lieu ;)

Thanks Bilky, though I'm at a loss to understand the Nottingham press release. If they're finishing a day early on a Friday, does that mean they normally go to school in Nottingham on a Saturday?

Round here they seem to be off from the middle of April to the middle of May. Training days of various descriptions, then a fortnight for Easter, then the Royal Wedding, then May Day, then more training days.

Mind you, Wiltshire does seem to have a shorter summer break. We're like Scotland and they start back towards the end of August.

I think they're doing the usual school thing of ignoring weekends, and counting the breaking-up as the first day of the holiday, rather than the last day of school.

Isn't it half term for the schools this week? I expect ginofish, jdav and ethan104928481 will be posting in a frenzy.

Is it me or does MMTV strike only during school holidays?
Connection?

That particular individual has long since left school, but does this to make people think he's someone other than he is.

He's been trolling around for years and years remember.

Indeed. The individual is also fond of a certain file sharing site.
He needs to get a life. He's evidently not the original MMTV and it clearly has more than one person behind it.

So you continued to bully a young woman with known mental-health issues, despite her dad's pleas for you to desist. And you are obviously proud of having done so too. Charming. What a lovely man you are.
