it seems appropriate that we begin a witch hunt against the infidel bandwidth wasters. i advocate the closure of the mocks forum, it is a breeding ground for the mentally retarded and socially inept members who gradually migrate over into the main forums.
with each mock attracting an array of insightful posts such as "5/10" and "great mock", i think its time we were put out of our misery

It would make sense. With the exception of Lee and about two or three other members most of them are now very poor bitmap images.

Whoops, sorry about this (and I wasn't planning on turning on the PC tonight either!!). Normal service should be resumed shortly. We've been pretty tight for a couple of months but just managed to scrape through but as has been mentioned, the BBC Two rebrand and Sky News may well have contributed to it going over after 26 days! I'll put a few things in place to stop it happening next month.
Cheers, Asa

Just a question - why does bandwidth exist at all? Wouldn't it be far easier not to have it? I'm probably just being thick...

Bandwidth is something set by the host, usually in Gigabytes per month. I think (though could be wrong) it's designed to prevent sites from using more than their 'fair share' of server resources. One host I use at work does provide 'unlimited bandwidth' though they have a 'fair use' clause as a get out.

I see 24:7 Tyne Tosser has rebranded again. He's Primetime TV now.

Why does he do that?
I see he'd changed his name again as he always signs his posts off Andrew. Or is it Regards Andrew? It gets confusing.

Why does he need to change everything? He'll be emailing Asa soon to try and rename the site...
And that bbc140 signs off each post as Regards, bbc 140; Andrew Tyne Thick seems to thank Plucky Duck 9876567 in his...
