I've just recieved my first warning from TVF for asking 'Ginofish' to use some grammar and punctuation, and also some sense. I also suggested he speak to Alexia on his sentence structure. It obviously didn't go down well.

Nothing's wrong with your sentence structure, I was hoping he might take some pointers from you on how to correctly structure his.

Apparently I was adding nothing to the thread, by helpfully telling him to invest in a dictionary, and some sense. If posts were deleted on the fact they add nothing helpful, we'd never hear from 'ginofish'.

Seriously? That's bullshit.

He might as well say, "purple monkey dishwasher" for all he adds; and when he does say something pertinent is usually a mangled paraphrase from a more worthy member.

Its like letting some babbling ape into a tea dance and then criticising the person who says, "excuse me, please don't defecate on my table".

Well, I've reached breaking point in the Daybreak thread.

The guy's a fucking pest and adds nothing to the board.

If TV Forum want to ban me in defence of him, bring it on.

They won't ban you though. Banning you may end the MetroTVF relationship and it's too much hassle for Asa to re-jig everything. You could get away with murder, to be frank.

Also, Critique, it is against forum rules to post nitpicking/unnecessary posts - read the rules.

Oh, and Pete, you won't need evidence, I can say what I want about the state of affairs, if it's true. I'm sure a mod will come along and sweep that post under the rug, so keep it up here.

Unfortunately, it's part of the 'system' here. A new member writes posts which appear abnormal and the people that view themselves as in the "clique" decide to pounce on them like lions onto a gazelle, they bully people because of their own problems or inadequacies and it's quite amazing to see some of this sort of member refer to people who are different as "cretins". It spoils my (and I'm sure others') enjoyment of the forums to see it descend into member bashing threads. If you are similar to the character mentioned above and wish to bitch, do so on the hate forum at least.

That is completely misrepresenting the situation here. Ginofish's posts are not "abnormal", they are abysmal. Poor spelling, punctuation, misinformation, supposition, wild speculation and above all a complete disregard for those who have tried to assist him in his understanding of many things, not least the endless pathetic debacle that was the pre-launch Daybreak thread. To blame it (predictably) on a "clique" is also clutching at very thin straws, as the criticism has come from far and wide, not just from (I'm assuming you mean) Metropol members.

Oh, and to call Metropol a hate forum is very hypocritical, as you are responsible for the following diatribe on said website:

And the 'ginofish' thread is gone. That lasted all of ten minutes. In the current state of affairs, I wouldn't be surprised if we started getting temp bans on TVF for things we say here. If the situation comes to that, I'll be doffing my hat to TVF and leaving.

Look - I'm aware my humour is a little darker nowadays, but was there any fucking need to warn me for a post in The X Factor thread? For the record, I said Pixie Lott's inane smiling while telling contestants whether they were in or out is the sort of face I'd like to see when someone's telling me I've got cancer. Dark, yes - but this is a forum where most can either leave out that humour if they don't appreciate it, or just flaming well ignore it.
