I think it was intended to be a pun. Sadly, it failed.

I often wonder about the psychology of all this, but having no knowledge whatsoever about psychology I can only come to the following half-baked conclusion: These children really really want to be in the know about what's happening behind the scenes of their favourite magic box channel. They don't really care what they know, and it can be as trivial and creepy as humanly possible because of it. The point is they get to know something the rest of the world doesn't (regardless of it being dull anyway). This gives them a sense of superiority that they quickly become addicted to, fuelling the spiral of creepiness into Garry Beorge type territory.

Or they're just dicks.

Whatever happened to the IP Ban? Or maybe we can redirect them to TVIdent's 'Telly forum'.

I don't know about newsreaders bending over, but I do remember him defending himself for posting the once-in-a-lifetime footage from BBC News of "person walks through back of shot and waves as they go past".

I almost worry about how dull his life must be if he finds such things so exciting he's set up a youtube channel to showcase them.

This is the Bending over person. I'm surprised we haven't got a thread about all of these uninteresting things. I mean, and they mentioned it on Have I got News for you a few weeks back, the BBC gave us the wrong version of Test Card F in 1983 for two minutes before putting the correct one up. Scandal!

Not really, it's quite clear what the post was about. Nitpicking isn't appreciated, especially considering I've already PMd you about the content of your posts.

and in the BBC News thread, exciting footage of Louise Minchen dropping her pen.

and quick - his planning to upload his 2nd ideas for the ITV News - and his 1st one was laughable!
I may upload my idea for a reshuffle in a while.
