No it's not never, what would be the point of the riddle? And no, not 2008 either.

Ok, how about if I restructure the riddle a bit? Last year, Boxing Day fell on December 29th. How?

I'm totally stymied.

I thought it was a little like, "how many months of the year have 28 days?".

But its not.

Is it something to do with Bank Holidays by any chance? Boxing Day fell on a Saturday, making Tuesday the 29th the Boxing Day bank holiday?
Something like that anyway, thats all I can think of.

EDIT: Surely by my own logic that would make 28th the Boxing Day Bank Holiday... this is hurting my brain.

If the monarch dies on christmas day and there's a weekend next to it or....something?

Bank Holidays was my thinking too but like his cock up here I came to the conclusion it would have to be the 28th. Or does Bank Holiday Monday take precedence and force Boxing Day onto Tuesday?
