Small matter of this site keeps going into mobile mode when posting in Firefox 3, which last night made it very difficult to read content on here as well as see whether there were new posts.
Anyhow, (when) are you going to admit you read wrong after complaining in the TV Forum watch thread?

Dr Lobster* wrote:there is a hide menu bar extension on amo which gives the firefox menu bar the same behaviour as ie7, (hidden by default, alt to show). in normal use, you never need to access it so it gives you a bit more space. it is a bit disappointing this functionality isn't there 'out of the box', but still.
When I read that, I thought it was a bit pointless. Then realised I rarely actually use the menus anyway. So thanks for that - now installed, it works a lot better!
Also found an addon called Stylish - allows you to write site-specific stylesheets so certain brightly coloured sites can appear readable again! You can also use it to search for existing alternative stylesheets, although that has only brought up nothing or a huge list for me so far.

Does that mean I can read Nick's Comment without a pair of spectacles cobbled together with colour filters?

I usually just select the whole page.

Yes it does, but unlike the other workarounds as given above, it will remember how you want to view the page in future too.
It's CSS handling does seem a bit weird, although I've not had time to read through all the manual yet so I might be missing something. It didn't work properly until I clicked the !important button in the edit box.

I can categorically state that that I read absolutely nothing wrong after complaining in the thread you mention.

God has spoken Charlie. Supplicate.
This isn't a dig...but an observation... you have a canny habit of posting things that have either been posted several aeons before, or by posting them way too late.
I expect you to post sometime today that Sky News has a new look.
OK it was a dig.

Nah, I posted in that thread yesterday. Still that reminds me, I need to post on TVForum to let everyone know that the BBC News website has relaunched.
