Bullshit. How many dictionaries did you trawl through for that?

I use http://cambridge.dictionary.org

spastic
adjective
1 OLD-FASHIONED suffering from cerebral palsy (= a condition of the body which makes it difficult to control the muscles)

2 INFORMAL an offensive way of saying 'stupid', used especially by children

It might look like I'm talking down to you from the top of Moral Hill, but if you insist on slumming around in Gutter Lane then it's no wonder you're losing perspective.

I'm consistent in my approach to this type of behaviour and comment. If you don't want to be reprimanded then don't do it.

Yes, because you'd never do a thing like that, would you?

I've got a couple of kitchen knives here that need sharpening. If i post them off to you could you run your tongues along them for me please. ;)

The most enjoyable thing is that googling the third definition reveals hundreds of practically identical "You can't say that!" "Yes I can, look here!" discussions on other forums... with our discussion being #1. We should be proud.

Observe :)

Oh, and thanks to this post I went over my 10 minute allocation on this *$ T-Mobile hotspot. Meaning I have to cough up another 75 pence. :x

Oh come, come, Jamez. Whatever definition you find in whatever dictionary, it's obvious to all that you meant it as a term for the disabled.

No not at all, you ignorant cretin.

And even if I did (which I didn't), do you have evidence to disprove the claim?

This argument can run and run. So too does the debate of whether offensiveness is in the eye of the writer or the reader. In the end you'd both have to be absolute mentals to keep at it.
