Geordies are alright. I've visited Newcastle twice in the last 12 months and nearly everyone I met was like a new best friend. The only person that I found to be a bit of a bitch was the woman behind the reception at the Travelodge near the Milliennium Bridge.

I concur, when I lived in the North East I found everyone to be very friendly indeed.
