Equally great was the London Weekends franchise...
Lin-ga lon-ga lin-ga lon-ga dadada-daa dum dadadada dum dum
The hyperlinks to your oddly-named wav or mp3 files don't seem to be working

They are NOT hyperlinks to .wav or .mp3 files. Instead, those "odd" names are
written representations of the jingles. How else am I supposed to type the jingles out as text here for people to read?

You don't. Fuckwit.

Funny Tumbler, despite you making the effort to write these out, what I hear in my head is nothing like the actual jingles, reading them out aloud sounds more like this-

I thought you were speaking Thai then until that bit at the end!

I was about to call you with my order for delivery at 10pm.

What made you think Ronnie Rowlands was speaking Thai in his mp3 file? I've listened to it, and it doesn't sound Thai to me.
Properly recited, my written attempts at the Thames and LWT jingles DO sound kind of like the real thing. Unfortunately I don't have a microphone attached to my PC to record my voice.

You probably have no idea at all how grateful the world is for that fact.

Just take the hint TT, nobody here or at the other place, wants to read your text jingles.
And unlike the London Weekend jingle, "Lin-ga lon-ga lin-ga lon-ga" - we don't want you lingering any longer. Take them to Digital Spy.

Well actually, back in February this year, I DID (under username Star Attraction) set up a thread on Digital Spy about
written TV jingles, but it wasn't all that popular.
FYI, I AM Star Attraction from Digital Spy, but I chose a different name here, Tumble Tower instead. Here's where I got the idea for the name
Tumble Tower from. I've played on one during the "First Friday of the month" adult only nights at Portsmouth Playzone, Cosham, near Portsmouth twice in the past two years. Great fun

Not right now thanks. In fact I don't go to the pub for drinks, to me there's no fun in it, downright boring to say the least. What made you ask that question anyway last night?

perhaps you should visit a pub and read out your written jingles. I'm sure you'll recieve a warm <del>bottling</del> welcome.
