Go on, give us an example !
Well, probably not the best example ever, but...
I work on the News and Mags department (yes, it IS a department 8) ) on a Sunday morning, and I'm the only one in on hardlines between 8am and about 9.30...
Anyway, our store opens at 9.30 for 'Browsing', although the tills don't open until 10. Occasionally, WHSmith deliver us short, meaning we don't get certain newspapers with the main delivery. On this occasion it was the Mail on Sunday.
So along comes a typical Mail reader, little stuck up old lady, and complains at the top of her voice that "Tesco should have this paper in when
she comes to do her shopping....blah blah blah .... I don't expect this from Tesco...." etc. etc.
Who does she think she is? The Queen?? Besides which, it wasn't even Tesco's fault - WhSmith News are incompetent (I know I've spelt that wrong) at the best of times.

a) The expansion of a local airport
or
b) The changing of a flightpath
or, of course (and much more likely), both.
They're always first in the bloody line when they want to go abroad though aren't they! And then complain most rudely if their flight is delayed by more than a mili-second.
Can they not see the benefits that a larger airport would bring to the local area??
And you're speaking from experience here are you ?
When you become grown up, and own a property, you will realise that the changing of a flight path can have a severe impact on the value of your property.
Perhaps best not to comment unless personally affected.

Cardiff has the right idea with its airport. It's 10 miles from the city centre on a peninsula away from populated areas. Maybe London's main airport should have been built next to the sea, away from densely populated areas?

Something to add on

Things that annoy me include plonkers who post pictures that are so soddin' wide that half the bleedin' thread disappears off the side of my screen.
