Unbelieveable. I literally found mine the other day at the back of the cupboard. Rusted battery acid stuff all over the place.

I never got into football cards (mainly because I hate football and I have no interest in it whatsoever).

I may have been a bit old for Pogs when they came out. I remember finding the little bastards in packets of crisps though!

At my school it started off like that then it was the record bags with a rasta smoking a spliff with graffiti tags like "Eclipse" or "East Side" on them. These were generally worn diagonally.

How scary would it be if that was actually Cheese Head and you were some sort of internet stalker?

Anyway.

I remember quite the opposite. Certainly toward the end of primary school and the start of secondary school, it was fashionable to wear bags on one shoulder. But in our school at least, it then became more fashionable to wear your bag on BOTH shoulders with BOTH straps. The one-shoulder look became unfashionable. And I don't think I've seen a resurgence in the one-shoulder option either.

So there you go.

I remeber those they were great, I remember there was a "legal problem" because of the fact the GPK looked too simular to the Cabbage Patch Dolls.

Here's a fan site that lists all of them from USA, they had more than us apparently:

Four weeks at number one . . . this fecking menace has got to be stopped. I have one of two options . . .

 Wait for the first chav I see leaving a record store with a copy of that
damn CD, and bash him/her/it over the nggin with a large heavy object!

 Emigrate to a country with some sanity. Such as Iraq. Or North Korea!
