No, you're all right, Phil, I don't know what the phuque's being talked about either.

I'll just play along and pretend to be intelligent.

Yes, I was certainly aware.

Not in the other place, though, in some other, other place.

Can I just ask when "Michael W" (all I remember him as is the podgy kid who excitedly sat next to Nick Owen doing homework on Midlands Today) became quite so pompous and full of himself?

Wonder what Nick would think of some of his behaviour now, particularly relating to library music. I dont think news music is quite his cup of tea, anyway.

All training for what I'm doing now, I think you'll find, darling. Except now I've got a voice coach.

But you didn't really answer my question. Why are you so pompous? We *get it*. You talk to people who are "in the know" (or rather pester them with e-mails which detract from their real job). I've met composers, musicians, actors and worked with many more, as have several members on each forum. Who cares?

This "ner ner ner" attitude is exactly the arsehole-like thing you jumped on the bandwagon against MMTV for. And it's bloody annoying. Stop it.

I will take your advice on board. Hope your career goes well.

So.

Tommy Cooper thread then...

There's actually been some good discussion about the cameras, opting and what not. I didn't feel there was merit in leaving the clip linked to, but was at least satisfied that there were sufficient personal statements of concern over the potentially distressing nature of it.

But then isn't it telling who has been dipping into the same footage time and again, to the extent that they "saved it" to their hard drives and were aware of the day the clip was pulled.

I'm not saying anything, I'm just saying, that's all.

I'm trying to find the best way to put this, so please bear with me:

But, why is it that recently, there's been a couple of posters in the other place that have - for whatever reason - begun to see themselves as above other people in that they feel it is their place to mock, point out (often mistakenly) errors and simply consider themselves better when it is blatently apparent they are not?

It is my own humble opinion and I may be wrong.

Come on Andrew, we need names we need places we need links ;)

Talking of people with ideas above their station

I do think this thread needs to close soon before it gets too morbid
What a pompous cretin. He's a moderator on another forum you know. Isn't he meant to be a teacher too? You'd think he'd have reasonable spelling/grammar.
