My boyfriend is ever so slightly on the autistic scale - and judging by what child psychologists had to say about ME once upon a time, so am I.
Your point being?
My point being that he's not the only damn person in the world with any kind of disorder. I don't hold with people apologising constantly for people with disorders and such, as if they are NEVER responsible for anything they do or say. Aspergers, I can cope with just fine in somebody.
You CLEARLY have NO idea exactly HOW Aspergers and the autistic spectrum in general affects people.
They aren't all the same. Sometimes, they aren't responsible for anything. They don't understand why they have to be quiet, why they have to accept things and they can't understand it and they never will understand it. Would you yell at a blind man for pushing into you? Would you tell an old man off for walking too slowly up some steps? No you wouldn't. Your problem is you lack understanding of Autistic Spectrum Disorders and how they vary from person to person and you think Tumble can just change, well Newsflash for you - he won't. Just because you think you are on the Autistic Spectrum doesn't make it any more acceptable either, the fact is you have actually discriminated against him.
