I do wish Westy would come over to the Birdsong forum with his radio posts though. It would be nice to have everything together.

I do too. He has been asked, but I guess he prefers to post there.

Pfft. You were backing him up til you realised which way the wind was blowing, Michael.
No, I was backing up his idea that the forum had an aggressive attitude to younger members, but after my behavior and his I can see why you do have that attitude. And telling Westy to stop posting in the Central West and BBC Midlands Thread is like asking a bird to stop flying or a fish to stop swimming.

Its not about attitude, or at least I hope its not on my part - but more of a stimulus/response thing. If people bristle the feathers of the group then they'll get their eyes pecked out. But the pecking stops when the behaviour becomes less bothersome.

Anyhoo, I'll take that as a withdrawal of your "ageist pig" comment to me. The others you have made of late I'm storing in my little notebook for now.

You can take that as a withdrawal to all of the comments, I just say them because, like most people, I have good days and bad days and I just pick on the easiest target. In those cases someone on the internet. In most cases the anonymity makes me do it, I wouldn't actually say the comments to your face.

Thanks for the support guys.

Much appreciated.

I'm debating whether to reply, or let him 'hang himself', with help from you guys.

Besides there ain't much to say thesedays about WM for various reasons.

While I'm confined downstairs at work, due to a recent accident, the DAB's been keeping me company but I'm mainly on Gold, Smooth & The Arrow music stations at the mo, apart from Danny Scouser in the afternoon.

I just happened to flick onto Jo Malin the other day, but it's a bit soft in tone innit.

Even the Doolan show ain't what it was. Even Keith Beech ain't been coming on after the RAJAR results like he used to.

At least you can shout at the radio when Danny's on, as he's a lout!

I wouldn't worry about it Westy, I predict he/she/it'll be gone by Monday morning. If not, I'll eat my hat...

Don't want to moan but TVF has been chronically slow for my lately. Normally I'd blame the general rubbishness of VM but this happens at home and also at my uni's connection on my laptop. When it works it's fast but at least half the time I just get "Connecting..." and then either nothing or...

Which it never does for long which is sort of a shame as a continuous fault is more likely to get fixed than an intermittent one :(

I believe N6 will have the self-correcting BARCO screens installed at Christmas.

If someone could take the old ones and install them in Worzel's house I'd be very happy.
