The GMB thread isn't one I frequent, but happened to click today and, my God, I didn't realise that was another for the 'never visit' list.
Some things never change. The GMTV thread on TV Forum was always a mess too.DTV wrote: Thu 12 Oct, 2023 22.37 The GMB thread isn't one I frequent, but happened to click today and, my God, I didn't realise that was another for the 'never visit' list.
Abbey Clancy/ Crouch took the biscuit to be honest.Martin Phillp wrote: Thu 12 Oct, 2023 14.51At least that suggestion was sensible.Blewatter wrote: Wed 11 Oct, 2023 22.11And I said Adrian Chiles and Christine Lampard, even though that would never happen now.Martin Phillp wrote: Tue 10 Oct, 2023 22.54 Someone really suggested Jacqui Oatley to replace Holly Willoughby on This Morning.
Could in part be a reflection of the state of linear TV these days, which overall these days is somewhat stale. Also, possibly some of the rules listed on https://pres.cafe/rules.php might inadvertently be putting off some from mostly on-topic constructive discussion.Philip wrote: Sat 28 Oct, 2023 21.31 I feel like the non-news side of the forum is really quiet these days. Major new Saturday night primetime show on BBC One with unusual presentation into the start of it - no posts apart from mine.
I find the whole topic of BBC News cuts to be quite irritating in general. It does affect how the service appears on screen, but its just coming across as moaning.
I know what you mean as I've thought that too, but having checked, I'm pretty sure that "LDN" on Pres Cafe is a different person to "BBC LDN" on TVF, particularly as BBC LDN didn't post anything after 2013.Jamesypoo wrote: Mon 06 Nov, 2023 18.57 Did BBC LDN always post such essays in the blue days as he does now in the BBC News thread?
