I beat you to it ages agoJovis wrote:http://tvforum.co.uk/peel/large2.jpg - a full version of what's under the peel.
PS:altrus wrote:I found that you could get the full image from the peel with a little work!
Please don't ban me for this, all I did was look through the source code and found a small peel/peel.js so I went there and found this
Also, is this a permanent launch on Saturday(Or whenever) or will you just add a link to the beta?
If it's a full launch, I expect the usual nightmare of missing posts and accounts after the Database transfer.

Some of the effects remind me a lot of Vista's graphical effects, and the fact that Segoe is the default font furthers the comparison in my mind anyway.Hymagumba wrote:in what way exactly? The Lurker wrote:but it does remind me quite a bit of Vista.
I like Aero, so it's in no way an insult. Just an observation.
davidlees clearly knows things that we don't
Paul Clark - of not being consulted when NI ditched the subtitles dog fame - is also in the conspiracy mooddavidlees wrote:The CA just said it was nothing to do with the clocks going forward. I remain to be convinced.

Interesting to notice this thread which appears to have been dredged up by accident. davidlees has clearly been a delightful chap for some time now.

Not quite dredged up by accident...
I was just looking for a relevant Countryfile thread to talk about the move to prime time next week, the search facility couldn't find one, so I came accross that one via Google which I had started last year and interestingly was able to post in it.
A little while later I noticed my post had been deleted for no apparent reason. so tried to post again but got some error message so couldn't post/edit my post.
