Coco-pops, with the CGI milkmen, doing the dance routine from Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang's "Me old Bamboo" (badly) to the tune of Snap's "You've got the power".
Wrong wrong wrong.

The Iggy Pop Swiftcover adverts are branded misleading, as Swiftcover do/did not cover musicians!

I quite like the current batch of Churchill adverts, especially the Roy Walker one.
But that Rolf Harris one is torture, so bloody annoying.

As you know I can't abide cute, nice, overly sentimental, hippy-esque adverts, but I really like the new Muller yoghurt one where they all sing the 'I've got life' theme tune together.

Ghastly singing adverts are coming back. It's like the 70's all over again. Cuprinol and some tool supplier are dancing like it's 1978.

Virgin Trains
I like the retro 80s music theme running through their adverts this year.

I'm not too keen on the new ads. They set a standard with their 25th anniversary which is hard to beat. That ad was class.

I just saw that advert tonight. It enrages me because I've made that journey a few times and it's the most tedious thing ever.
Even more tedious than this post.

Why does the hugely stereotypical Tetley Redbush advert have a bongo-inspired version of "The Addams Family" as its background music?
Also I think all adverts for the Army should be banned. In an era when several hundred have died needlessly, do we really need government departments glamourising violence in an unscrupulous recruitment campaign?

Of all the things you can say "well this is an unexpected twist" to, being shot at when you're in army can't really be considered one of them. You can hardly blame them for advertising the benefits you'd get if you don't die.
