Even I'll let this one slide as I've actually heard of the chap and he actually did affect people, like me. Possibly the first time "A great loss to television" actually meant something in an obit thread. Well, almost, he did retire in 2001 but his legacy will remain.

annoying member david price appears to think that just because he didn't personally see the great rota battle it means he can pollute the BBC World thread with rota bilge.
"nobody seemed interested in BBC World's rotas in the rota thread" he moans, well doesn't that maybe suggest something?
