Can an accident have a victim?
Of course; the victim is the poor sap who is eemed at fault, and thus is the target of frivolous lawsuits for things like "emotional trauma"!

"Back in my day if you were run over by one of them new fangled autocars you damn well got up and walked even if your legs were shattered, maybe even thanked the man for it as well. Of course then, many people just walked around with legs hanging on by tendons and we were thankful too. Falling down steps was considered fun for us we were so poor, we just got up, cleaned our wounds with some iodine and got back to it."

The new Barclays advert with Stephen Merchant doing the voiceover. Someone tell him (and Ricky Gervais, Hardeep Singh Kohli, Jimmy Carr, et al) that smug, cringe-inducing, faux-sarcastic monotonous style of delivery passed its sell-by date a long, long time ago.

The new Visa advert is brilliant.

Oh I'm not sure, either of you. I have a personal loathing of ads that try and hop onto internet memes.

I officially loathe any advert that has a white background, or at least a white 'endboard' thing at the end. It's so lazy. Hopefully, in these recessionary times, the ad agencies are going to have to start working a little bit harder and be a bit more creative with their adverts, because random graphics + logo slapped on a plain, bright white background just won't cut it.

No it isn't. Why is he on crutches? Why is he apparently inferring that people queuing for cash are somehow inferior? Not everywhere accepts VISA.

The horrific dubbing on the Skills Centre advert - is that the guy who did White Horses?

There's another one that I hate but I can't remember what it is.

There's also some more horrific dubbing on the latest Sure deodorant advert.
