I'm a big fan of Black Sheep ale, as well as pale ales. Blonde Bombshell from Old Mill Brewery and Guzzler from York Brewery being two of my current favourites.

*BUMP*
Trying Black Sheep for the first time tonight. Wowee. Jumped into my top ten. Have been off the alcohol for a wee while but on it again tonight. Fear that if I don't get through the Christmas presents they'll go off...still got a nice 3-bottle set of Cheltenham Battledown ale to go through yet.
EDIT - Cider fans, check out Black Dragon.

I've returned to Fruli. I'm not proud of this.

Jaysus I've just looked that up. I'm not surprised you're ashamed.

I'm gracious like that. I can't deal with real ales (because they are disgusting, objectively speaking). Good old lager, Fruli and Jagermeister.
And rum. I like rum now.

Gone back to G&Ts at the end of the night to freshen my palate and make that morning-after experience less icky. Gotta be....dare I say this out loud....Plymouth gin?
Not a Jager fan.

I've been enjoying Cornish Knocker from the Skinners Brewery in my local lately. A nice refreshing ale!

Crabbies do an orange-flavoured version of their alcoholic ginger beer. It tastes like sick.

Yes I do love rum. OVD or Woods Old Navy 100% proof.
I can't be doing with ale, so my drink of choice normally is a plain cider. Blackthorn or Strongbow. I get weary of boozers that only supply super-strength ciders, or ones made from strawberry or pear, like it has to be exotic. Mass produced, pissy old cider does fine, ta.
This week at the hotel I was staying at we drank the bar dry, so they let us bring in bottled cider from a supermarket and drink it in the lounge. Certainly a cheaper proposition!

Gavin, may I suggest Somersby Cider from Carlsberg? No artificial sweetners, flavourings or preservatives. It has become my cider of choice.
In the local, though, it's Wye Valley Butty Bach - a few pints of which have gone down very well after work this evening!

Cider here. Aldi's own "Taurus" brand is my loopy juice of choice. It's a steal at £1.99 for 2 litres, and packs a punch at 5.3%. I have noticed vagrants buying it though.
