I don't really have a bag for "day to day" use but I do have one I use when I'm working which I'm rather fond of
In my "work" bag:

Electrical Tape

Duck/Gaffa Tape

Gerber Multi Tool

AA batteries (12pack)

Sennheiser Radio Mic

Lens Cleaning Kit

Air Duster

Assorted small screwdrivers

SatNav and car adapter

iPod, charger, car adapter thing

Cable ties, millions of them

Camera Tape (like masking tape but stronger)

Lint free cloth do-da

Headphones

Portable Hard Drive

Lunch

Water

Misc connections, adapters for video/audio
On my person:

Keys, House/Car

Wallet

iPhone

Another Phone (some nokia thing)

Watch

Fags, wallet, work keys, car keys, many many pens, several lighters that no longer work, and about 6 months-worth of scrunched up payslips that I keep picking up, sticking in my bag and forgetting to put somewhere safe.
