According to An Inspector Calls (my GCSE English Literature text), swallowing disinfectant kills you.
A young woman swallowed some disinfectant. Burned her inside out, of course.

PLEASE stop referencing the GCSE education system. I have BEEN through this system like many other members here and done precisely these uninspired texts and have no desire to be reminded of it endlessly with your sonnets and play referencing and so on.

At the risk of being told to stop "brown-nosing", I'm going to agree with you. I can't stand An Inspector Calls, the AQA Anthology, and pretty much EVERYTHING else in the GCSE course. That being said, I've still got to do it.
