Your Musical Tastes
I've just downloaded KT Tunstall's latest album, and I'm really enjoying it.
Got the new James Blunt album coming soon as well...

Music industry, get ready to suck again!
"Now, if you'll look to your right, you'll see my waning libido, my crushed soul, and my very last nerve, which I would advise you not to get on, under or even close to."
I have been listening to... VARIOUS ARTISTS "Chart Trek" ("To Boldly Pick The Stars Of '84"!) with an eightie-tastic first-side line-up of:
Calling Your Name by Marilyn
Never Never by The Assembly
Everything Counts by Depeche Mode
Pale Shelter by Tears For Fears
Heaven Is Waiting by Danse Society
Waves by Blancmange
Bad Day by Carmel
Plus, over the other three sides such classics as "Love of The Common People", "Club Tropicana", Boxerbeat", Rat Rapping" and best of all - "Tantalise" by Jimmy The Hoover.

There's a song I heard ages ago called 'Beep beep' by Tight Fit. It was on the B-side to their 80's hit 'The lion sleeps tonight'. Released on Jive records.
If anyone can find that song either in their collection or online, I will be shocked. It is quite possibly the cheesiest and catchy song I've ever heard. I would have thought someone would have put it on the internet by now - even for sheer comedy value. Alas not.

Currently listening to Rascal Flatts, a great band from the States. They've got a new album coming out in just over a week's time, so I can't wait for that.

Well, I've now got the new Blunt album, and it's not very good. It's a bit boring.

I bought the album by Plain White Ts last week and was slightly underwhelmed. I expected it to be full of "Hey There Delilah"-esque songs but every other song on the album sounds like every single other American group at the moment.
At the same time, I bought Natalie Imbruglia's new album. Verrrrrrrrry good. Would be better if it was a proper new album instead of half compilation and half new, but it's good nevertheless. I've had Glorious in my head for days now.
Current CDs in my car include Maroon 5's latest album, which I would *heartily* recommend, Pink's I'm Not Dead album, which rocks, My Chemical Romance's newest one, which is awesome, and Avril Lavigne's new one, which is good if a bit samey. Oh yeah, and Mutya Buena, which is a really good album with a lot of good collaborations.
So now you know.
